Why Do We Give?

We believe that giving is a biblical principle and an important aspect of Christian discipleship. It is both an act of worship and an expression of gratitude to God, who is the source of every good gift and blessing. Scripture teaches us to "Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase" (Proverbs 3:9).

The faithful giving of tithes and offerings enables the church to fulfil its God-given mission, support ministry initiatives, develop believers, and extend its service to the local and wider community. As we give, we participate in the ongoing work of establishing God's Kingdom and positively impacting the lives of others for the glory of God.

What The Bible Says About Giving

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
