Bishop Barrington Mullings

Senior Pastor

Barrington is a dedicated child of God who endeavours to serve the purpose for which God created, called, consecrated, and commissioned him. He carries a passion for authentic biblical spirituality and scholarship, and passionately engages in processes and pathways that enhance his desire in becoming a proficient dispenser of the very grace by which he is saved through faith. He is married to his soulmate, Maxine, and is a father to many children including one biological daughter and son, and grandfather to many grandchildren – including one biological grandson.

A native of the sunny isles of Jamaica, Barrington credits his family and the many people from the winder community of Highgate and Capture Land, and the Church at Frazer Wood Drive for the roles they played in shaping his life and the ministry to which God calls him to fulfil amongst the nations. He expresses special appreciation to God for his introduction to biblical scholarship and pastoral training at Bethel Bible College in Mandeville, Jamaica. The excitement this experience incited for Barrington’s passion for learning, propelled him to achieve three degrees – two at master’s Level. Learning for growth and development is one of Barrington’s passions. It has served to consolidate his ministry calling while giving birth to new ministry niche such as writing reflectively to support believers development and enhancing ministry effectiveness especially amongst established and emerging leaders for the glory of God.

Being true to the call of God and the convicting might of the Holy Spirit upon his life, Barrington fulfilled numerous leadership and ministry roles including, serving as a Member of the National Education Board for NTCG England and Wales for ten years; facilitating the development of ministerial candidate for Ordination to the Ministry Rank of the Bishopric via the CMD Programme for three years; and serving as a member of the National Executive Council for four years. He currently serves as Senior Pastor, District Overseer, and Member of the National Ministerial Examination Board. Besides, Barrington is a published author. Capacity Expansion & Development: Becoming Proficient Dispenser of Divine Grace, is the first of his books to be published. Titles of Barrington’s imminent publications designed for believers faith development and revival in divinely determined revival, include Knowing the Holy Spirit and Reclaiming Pentecost.

  • Barrington ministry portfolio has taken on new mission field in Egypt and Ghana. He mentors a young ministry who serves with the Coptic Church in Egypt and undertakes church planting, spiritual leadership development, and pastoral mentoring with a vibrant team of willing ministers in Ghana. Establishing a medical facility for Reynal Care in partnership with Church of God Hospital in Essienimpong, Kumasi, and launching The Prayer Shop Initiative – a spiritual therapeutic service geared at facilitating the healing and recovery of woman and children who are survivors of male sexual violence are some of the ministry initiatives Barrington feels compelled by the Holy Spirit to deliver within this season of his life and ministry.

Barrington values the call of God and therefore engages in exuberant worship to celebrate the LORD and His bestowed grace that gives him meaning and purpose. He is noncompromising proclaimer of the truths of Scripture. He endeavours to evidence the truth of God’s Word by its transformational efficacy in his life and through his ministry. For all of this and what lies ahead, Barrington gives the glory to God who redeems him from sin and gave him a purpose for living and dying without fear and shame.
